Superstar by Kate Meader

5.0

Pepper Calhoun was known for her clumsiness so when she is coerced into filling in for the Chicago Revels mascot there should be no surprise things go bad. But to take down one of the well-known players and ruin his comeback to hockey was disastrous. Not only her father, who is the coach, but the fans are mad at her.
Bastian Durand is returning to hockey after being gone for a year. The big night for his comeback doesn’t go as planned and he ends us injured. Discovering it was Pepper in the mascot suit that delayed his return, doesn’t upset Bastian. He has wanted Pepper forever and he is determined to protect her. Can he convince her to give him a chance?
Superstar is the seventh book in the Rookie Rebels series. I read it as a stand-alone but after finishing it, I really want to read the rest of the series. This was such a fun and entertaining book. I loved the storyline and really enjoyed the book. I look forward to reading the other books in the series next.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
