Divine Fate
by Morgan B Lee
4.5/5⭐️
“Hope is useless, and praying is for idiots.
“You’d all better be alive, or I’m destroying what’s left of this godsdamned world.”
"My pleasure. My pain. Whatever shattered pieces are left of me, they’re all yours. I’m yours.”
“She’s divinity laced with sin, and I’m pure madness ready to worship at her altar.”
“I am more than I was made or trained to be. I’m alive. I feel. My heart pounds wildly as I stalk closer to the impending danger—but what a fucking gift, to be so alive that I can fear death again.”
What a series.
I’m really not sure how to summarize my thoughts other than this is such a good read. If you can get past Kenzies dialogue (I love her please don’t get me wrong but she is cringe enough it takes me out of the story way too often) then this is such a good paranormal romance that actually has a well flushed out plot as well as immaculate spice.
My only real complaint about this one is that the conclusion (the whole Amadeus thing) felt SO rushed. Because what do you mean I read 2k+ pages just for 3 paragraphs to close that story line…?
I loved the flashbacks/memories and it made it so interesting during lulls in the main plot. The very end also just sent me, the gods crack my shit up.
