A Lady's Guide to Mischief and Mayhem by Manda Collins
2.5
This book had an interesting premise that didn’t totally deliver. The fact that all the murders in the book were tied together just felt like forcing a puzzle piece in a spot it didn’t fit. Add in that the characters were so adamant that it all made perfect sense that everything was connected and that made it worse. I also didn’t really get a lot of chemistry between Catherine and Eversham. And, a smaller pet peeve, but the characters on the cover don’t match the character descriptions - she has black hair and he has brown!
