I was nervous to start this one due to the sheer size of it. But I started it and before I knew it I was 250 pages in and had no plans of putting it down.
It got me thinking about a lot of things I haven’t really thought about before. Like how easy it is for a story to die, and what it takes for one to live. I loved the message of humanity that was addressed at the end as well. I thought it was especially impactful in Seymour’s story.
This novel had extremely compelling characters. I was very invested in everyone’s story and loved following them in their various timelines. I loved the way they connected; it felt very intentional and purposeful.
It was a little slow, but overall an incredibly well done and purposeful novel that was a joy to read.
