This book was awesome! For the biggest geeks out there, I can imagine this book would be like diving into a treasure trove. Even for a middling geek 🤓 this book was so much fun to read. It really made me want to check out every reference to the 80s and start playing arcade/video games again.
Although sometimes I felt a little lost when the book dove too far into the geek verse, which I admittedly only dip my toes into, the book still managed to suck me in. Thankfully, I also really enjoyed all the main characters! The pace was good and didn’t linger too long (anywhere) and the world building was really great - I want to live in the OASIS!
Kind of cool (but also really not) if this world is a peek of what our future will someday look like! Can’t help the mind from spinning off ;)
