I am a sucker for romance with depth and really really enjoyed this one! I liked that there was no beating around the bush, we just jumped straight into it, I wasn’t sure what was going to happen over 380 pages, but at no point did I feel bored or that it was being dragged out. I’d definitely suggest checking trigger warnings with this one as it does delve into some deeper topics, but I think that’s what made me love this book so much. I like that this one hits you hard with some pretty intense issues, but also brings in some silly lighthearted moments to lighten the mood, specifically the farm animals 🫶🏼 The only thing I didn’t like was the end wrapped up maybe a little too quickly and felt a bit rushed!
