Okay, I now understand why this is one of the most popular books of 2023 here on Goodreads. This was genius. R.F.Kuang's writing style kept me hooked and the unreliable narrator parts fucking slapped. It seems like I really need to read more books with this narrator type. June Hayward came across like a lying lunatic and I loved it. I'm just not really satisfied with the ending, and a few questions were left unanswered, which is why I won't give this 5 stars. The rest was to my liking though.
