THE PLOTTTTT MY GOD. ONE OF THE BEST I'VE READ HOLY--

Plot-wise, the way everything was strung together, I would definitely give a 5-star. Character-wise, it's more of a 4- star. Aside from Pip, I wasn't really attached to any of the characters. In fact, some of the suspects were starting to blend in my head so that I was just losing track of who was who. Ravi and Pip, while they were cute, didn't seem like they NEEDED to form a romance, and I kind of wish they stayed just friends for this book, or at least the romance was elongated to even the second or third book, just to give it time to grow. But that's a highly personal aspect, as I prefer slow-burn romances anyways, and the romance is definitely not essential to the plot, so it didn't bother me that much.
