The characters in this book are incredibly boring. I cannot get over the fact that the mc name was belly. I think i would kill myself if my mom named me that. Not the summer i turned pretty, more like the summer i turned whinny. Belly was the most annoying person in the book. Every sentemce i cringed. What was the plot? There is none. Her life is so boring, i almost put the book down multiple times. There was no suspense, nothing to look forward to. Were there even words on the page at that point? No dont read it
