Enchanted to Meet You by Meg Cabot

Did not finish book. Stopped at 10%.

I’m only 10% in and I’m confused. Are there really witches in this or not? It started off sounding like her mother was a witch but then it said by the time she realized her father didn’t mean it literally it was too late and Jess thought she was a witch. So she was doing spells and stuff but she’s not actually a witch. But then someone she assumes is from the witch council shows up (which the abbreviation annoyed me) claiming she’s the chosen one but her mission is just to observe some girl.

Usually I love Meg Cabot but I’m giving up on this one.
