I give 4.5 stars to Kate’s storyline and 3.5 stars to Mark’s storyline
I want to start by saying that I enjoyed this book overall; however I did have some issues with it. I loved both of the main characters and their insta-friendship. However, the side characters (with the exception of Ryan & June) left much to be desired.
I enjoyed Kate’s storyline the most. I loved how it was as much about finding her path as it was about her love life. However,I did have any issue with how her relationship with her "best friend" played out. It felt unresolved and false.
I liked Mark's storyline at the beginning of the book, but the ending had me pulling at my hair in frustration. There were just so many issues!!!
All in all, the book gave me a lot of feels, and I really enjoyed the diversity of the characters.
