The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes

3.0

I think this story succeeds if solely considering Tony’s story. Tony is funny although a bit insensitive, yet redeeming. I didn’t care much for Tony’s romantic plights but I did pay attention more with the progressing development between Tony, Veronica, and Adrian. Tony feels like one part of the story and I wish there were sections of this book devoted to Adrian and Veronica since they feel like stunted characters in comparison.
