Silver Girl by Elin Hilderbrand

4.0

I am so glad that my lovely mother introduced me to the books of Elin Hilderbrand. I read this over the course of a couple days while camping with my family next to the water (the setting couldn't have been more relaxing). Silver Girl is an intimate look into the lives of two lifelong friends and the trials and tribulations of that friendship. It touches on the financial turmoil of 2008 and really pushes the reader to practice empathy. I thouroughly enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more by Hilderbrand.

Spoiler*My only complaint about Silver Girl is that the relationship between Meredith and Toby wasn't explored more at the end of the book. I am a sucker for a happy ending and would be thrilled to read a sequel.
