Overall this was a good book, and I felt like it had a really solid beginning and ending. However, the middle got really squidgy, and sometimes the author goes into such long chess strategies that, while yes technically appropriate, end up being boring. If I had not been listening to the audio book, I very likely would have put the book down and abandoned it. I’m glad I didn’t, but not quite glad enough to give it 4 stars.
