Maeve was for the most part self absorbed and wasn't aware of the world around her. For example hate crimes and differences in social class. It made it frustrating at times but i still thoroughly enjoyed this novel and it is officially one of my favorite books. Also Roe is the best person ever I love him so much and everytime Mave and himself kissed I was squealing!!💖
