I loved this, and find the whole Paladin series to be the best comfort reading (I’m re-reading them already). I love the characters so much, the world building is well done, and this really has it all—adventure, an honest understanding exploration of trauma, a will-they-won’t-they romance (that ends satisfyingly), murder mystery, daring rescues, zombies, golems, and adorable paladins! I can’t wait to read more in this series and more set in this universe.
