It was such a beautiful heartwarming story of the Rossignol family struggling to survive WW2 all in different ways. This was such a comforting read, so much so, that as time went by i didnt even realise I had finished the book.
Although the ending was sad this was such a beautiful and satisfying read.
Trust me thoughout the whole book TEARS. WERE. SHED.
If you love historical fiction then this is a must read for you, you have to read it PLEASE
