this is like the saddest romance book with the happiest ending i have ever read. my heart is thoroughly wrenched. the writing prose reminds me of (how i remember) john green (from when i was a tortured teenager). i called the ending a mile away but i still needed it 🥹
my only critique is that he seemed a little too perfect all the time and that i wish she started praising/showing something other than physical interest sooner in the book because he was like pouring his heart out to her at times and she was like “thanks. i think you’re organized too” which had me 😤
