The Cabin by Jasinda Wilder
4.0
Whoa. This book was such an emotional read! And I loved it!
Nadia and Adrian had been college sweethearts, married for many years. After the death of her father when she was a teenager, she decided to become a nurse. Her passion made it difficult for Adrian to tell her what was going on with him.
A year after his death, she is struggling. Significantly. Adrian knew this would be the case, and made sure to work his magic and help her move on, sending her to a cabin to try to heal.
I absolutely loved the first half of this book. I felt every emotion to my bones. I devoured it! I must say, the second half of the book dragged a bit, but I figure that the healing process drags, too. I loved the way that she bonded with Nathan, and together, they were able to heal.
I am a huge fan of emotional reads, and The Cabin completely hit that mark!
