Gave me this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

Nine-year-old Bella D'accourt was designed/developed by Dr. Frederick Blacke through a genetic selection program called Project A. Project A is a project where multiple children were genetically engineered to give them traits specially chosen by their wealthy families who wanted unique children with special abilities. Bella her family requested a child with extremely beautiful features wich resulted in a daughter with beaming green eyes.

Bella her biological mom consider her defective/robotish when she is around the age of nine years old. After several events took place wich have to do with the behavior of the little Bella her mother starts to feels fed up.

As a result, Bella is brought back by her mother to the doctor who genetically engineered her nine years ago. 'You need to take her back she is defective' From this moment Bella her biological parents disappear out of her life. She is fostered by Dr. Frederick Blacke and his wife inside their facility.

Past and present alternate each other during the storyline. During the past we discover all the details wich took place during Bella her childhood under the care of her foster parents and their son Ralf.

When we travel into the future we explore the difficulties which Bella faced during her adulthood as a mom. Bella live a difficult life with fear constantly haunting her like a black shadow. She tries her best to to flee for the evil Dr. Josiah Lychen who used to work for her foster parents their facility. Her main goal is to protect her daughter Ariana for this evil guy.

When they are tracked down Bella her live turns into a nightmare. Shortly after this event her daughter gets kidnapped. Bella need to fight with her whole heart to save her daughter.

I loved how the author described the tenderness wich took place inside the chapters that mentioned family relationships.

The storyline includes a lot of action. Every action created movement. The characters are really diverse and well developed. I'm still processing the plot wich absolutely blew my mind. This book felt like a unique sience fiction book to me.

I want to thank the author for sharing her book with me. The Girl with the Green Eyes is the first part of the Take her Back trilogy.
