Invisible Women: Data Bias in a World Designed for Men by Caroline Criado Pérez

challenging informative slow-paced

5.0

This book should be mandatory reading for everyone. While some may think this book is profoundly depressing for how hopeless it depicts the future (and past) for women, I found it eye opening. This book is why we need feminism. Perez details the systematic segregation of women from medical research, to policy and urban planning. You won’t be able to look at the world in the same way after reading this; who knows, maybe that’s exactly what the world needs.
