im not a romance reader so I decided to take a chance with this book. characterization and plot were a little all over the place and seemed to only show up when it was convenient (and as far as the plot goes mostly at the end) but despite that it piqued my curiosity enough to find out how saffron and cylvan's story will be resolved and check out the sequel eventually
