One of my students recommended this book to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Many books claim to be "just like" The Hunger Games and some might say that this book is in that category. In some ways, that's true; however, there are significant differences. The pacing in Maze Runner is different - slower at first because of the way the author puts the plot together. The group dynamics in this book are also different and make the plot fun to follow. The ending made me want to read the next book in the series, too! Well done!
