I really enjoyed this book. While it is fiction, it reads more like non-fiction. When I was reading, I couldn't help but notice similarities between L.M. Montgomery and Anne Shirley from [b:Anne of Green Gables|20893527|Anne of Green Gables|L.M. Montgomery|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1400842320s/20893527.jpg|3464264]. There were some moments in Maud that were both heartbreaking and heartwarming. Maud is a well researched book about family, friendship, and following your dreams. After reading this book, with material pulled from Montgomery's own personal journals, I am more curious to read them. I highly recommend this book to fans of L.M. Montgomery.
