The Story of a New Name by Elena Ferrante

emotional reflective medium-paced

5.0

I was unsure if this would live up to My Brilliant Friend, but it completely topped it. Ferrante’s writing draws the reader in so gracefully. This novel begins as a slow burn but before you notice you’re completely hooked. Her storylines are complex and raw, underscored by her ability to highlight the thoughts hidden in corners of your brain. I can’t wait to read the next.
