I truly LOVED this book. I cried at the end of almost every chapter. It was comforting to hear that we may not truly leave this world alone. While I’m not a religious person, I do consider myself a spiritual person. I don’t know exactly where we go when we die, but I do think we go somewhere. I appreciated seeing the author’s growth throughout the book and while our beliefs may differ, I really appreciate her sharing these stories with us. I’m also glad we got to hear the stories of her 12 patients. In some ways their memory will live on through this book.
