Out of My Mind by Alan Arkin

5.0

Arkin gets it.

With his gravelly voice and sage perspective, he pushes back against certainty and creed—religious, political, scientific, or otherwise—walking us through his inner life and the numerous transformations he's experienced (or witnessed) through the decades.

His agnostic and non-dogmatic defense of belief and the pragmatic benefit it can have is valuable. This quick collection of stories and musings is its own form of meditation.
