Overall a very captivating and fast read with a plot twist I never expected. You were always on the fence of who was not to be trusted. A great mystery. 

Thoughts: 

• I can see how the author is a screen writer the story is perfect to be made into a movie or mini series. It’s great at visualizing commentary and drawing you in 
• Yuri at the bar is also creeping me out Theo we are on the same page 
• I feel like Dionedes is tricky or shifty I don’t fully trust him 
• Fuck Kathy 
• Ruth is about to make me cry rn 
• Poor Theo 
• The family dynamic is already so tense with Gabriel’s brother and new wife interestingg
• I really think Alecia was bi polar based on her diary entry’s with such high highs and low lows 
• MAX ASSULTED ALECIA NO WONDER WHY MAXS WIFE IS SCARED AROUND HIM JESUS
• All of the men in this book give me off vibes 
• I have a feeling Alecia hallucinated and thought she tied up and shot the man that was “watching” her but it was actually her husband and she didn’t know how to cope? That is one of my guesses 
• CHRISTIAN IS WEST?! MY JAW DROPPED 
• Whyyy didn’t Theo just go straight to Diomedes he’s now just hungry for information and not really about her care djsksk 
• If Alecia doesn’t talk by the end of this book I’m gonna scream 
• YASS THANK GOD SHE SPOKE 
• I’m 98% sure the man Kathy is hooking up with is like yuri or Christian or another man in the book that he’s close to
• Imagine Diomedes did the overdose to Alecia 
• Yuri Christian Diomedes Jean Felix everyone is fucking fishy
• … how? What? Theo? So was Gabriel cheating with Kathy and that’s why he went after Alecia? Is this all in his head is he a patient?
• THEO SHOT HER UP NDKSKS WHAT I NEED THE TIME LINE SO HES BASICALLY THE MAN CHRISTIAN IS?!
• THEO SAID YOURE BETTER OFF DEAD DJKSKS GABRIEL ALSO SUCKS FUCK EVERYONE ALECIA DIDNT DESERVE THIS DKSK 
• Did Theo just go to all of Alecia’s family members as a cover story then?
• OMG SO THEO DIDNT KILL ANYONE HE JUST BROKE IN AND DID PSYCHOLOGICAL WAREFARE ON THEIR RELATIONSHIP IM DEAD 
• I had a feeling Theo was an unreliable narrator 
• I wonder what the painting with the building on fire of the two of them really means in her eyes now
• Ugh I wish it was a more concrete end like did Theo go to jail for breaking and entering and attempted murder or what happens next? But I can see why they didn’t because this book has been ambiguous from the beginning.
