This book was ok it had its moments of cute and happy goo but unfortunately it also fell a little off. This book felt unnecessarily preachy with the shining example of a perfect student held above all else. The shade thrown at JK seemed out of place in the story almost apologetic for including a hp reference. All in all this lead to the main characters voice coming across as that of a well meaning but out of touch parent rather than that of a teen experiencing love and travel for the first time.
