What I’ve written down below isn’t really a spoiler but what the author has mentioned that I feel like is a surprise, so just to be safe I’m mentioning it.

Something I liked that the author mentioned was how true crime podcasts were betrayed.

In early 2020 I think is when true crime pods really became about, then it wasn’t til a couple years later people went “hey this isn’t great” and now I agree. Having people retell peoples deaths or the worst part of their lives for entertainment is really disturbing.

Clearly the author pokes fun at My favorite murder and how chippy and happy they are to recount actual gruesome murders and then being sponsored in between stories. Because in then end, this massacre becomes media, I knew this was true but to see it come full circle and play out is kinda eye opening.
