The Killing Floor by Lee Child
2.5

I read this for two reasons: the show and my dad. And I’m happy I did. The show is definitely well adapted for tv and shows that both forms of media are truly just for entertainment and nothing else. And I’m happy I read it for my dad because now I can talk to him about and admit that his books are less offensive than I thought they’d be. However descriptions of people could use a little work, but it was 97 and this isn’t classic literature. As another thing about this book is that Child spends the whole time trying to figure out a catch phrase but I don’t know if he actually accomplished that and I hope “cocked and locked” stays in this book.
