The Girl Who Was on Fire: Your Favorite Authors on Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games Trilogy by Leah Wilson

4.0

This insightful collection of essays can occasionally make you feel like you're reading a study guide, but are often right on the mark, verbalizing my subconscious thoughts or bringing to more conscious awareness some of the subtleties of Collins' writing. The weakest was that of Lili Wilkinson, which left me unimpressed and didn't bring anything new to the table, but the rest reminded me why I enjoyed the books and, I think, have left me with a deeper understanding and appreciation.

Time to reread!
