This book is so simple yet thoughtful, the way it is written felt like walking through someone's life. The way the character grows and understands the aspects of life, its meaning and his ability to ask questions and wonder made him to go out and seek answers. It resonates closely with people who despite living in the mainstream fast flowing life, have courage to stay and observe for a while, these people have the courage to look at the course of life standing on its bank, to stop for a while and look around, to notice the smallest of details, the depth and flow of the water, the objects it encounters, the course it has traveled before, the rapids, the falls, the stagnant ponds nearby and all the details that seems forgetful and meaningless actually hold important part in its continuous flow. Every obstruction it faces, every turn it takes, the still phases, the changing depths, all hold true value to life's flow. This book compels one to standby for a while, to relax and enjoy the beauty of these intricate details.
I think the following quote describes my thoughts well.

“Knowledge can be conveyed, but not wisdom. It can be found, it can be lived, it is possible to be carried by it, miracles can be performed with it, but it cannot be expressed in words and taught.”

After reading it, I had many thoughts, it compelled me to think more deeply and look at world from a new perspective. This book introduced me to a new world of philosophical thinking and complexities of united thought and reason.
