Deadpool, Volume 4: Deadpool vs. S.H.I.E.L.D. by Brian Posehn, Gerry Duggan

4.0

To start off, the first "classic" Deadpool story in this volume was... weird. Like, trippy "what was that" Deadpool dream weird. It was interesting, but I'm still not sure what was going on there.

After that however, the authors continue their excellent run of Deadpool storytelling. Dark and conflicted but really funny at the same time, I especially enjoyed some of the jokes in this volume - including the extended "Watchmen" reference. The title is admittedly a little misleading in regards to the actual story, but this volume is a fun read nonetheless.
