Hood Feminism: Notes from the Women That a Movement Forgot by Mikki Kendall
challenging

trigger warnings: racism, misogyny, misogynoir, pregnancy complications, abortion mention, medical trauma for black women, homelessness, physical abuse, domestic abuse, rape, police brutality
This book digs into a wide array of topics and how they intertwine due and how topical solutions don't really address the systemic roots of racism. I really enjoyed the book. It felt like calling out and restating things I already knew but it REALLY outlined how so many problems tie into each other.
