Collecting Death by Ron Ripley

2.0

I was drawn to this book because of the premise. What with the Annabelle and Chucky movie series the concept of possessed dolls has grown. I will tell you that you may not look at a teddy bear the same way again after this book. I was really digging this book for the first third of the story. After this, my excitement dissipated. This is because the "horror" aspect of the story did not make the hairs on my arms stand up. In addition, there were a bunch of characters and none that I really was attached to. Therefore, between the combination of these two factors, this book is just "so, so". There are times that I would read parts of the story just for moments later for me to forget what I just read. Sadly, this book was lost on me in the "horror" department.
