I enjoyed this, I loved the plot and the fact that it’s so fast paced.

Tegan was so freaking annoying, the way she irritates me is insane. She was so aggravating with the way she thought Hank was the mastermind behind everything when it was glaringly obvious it was all his wife’s idea. This woman made no attempt at saving her life but Hank sure did. Also right when Tegan was saved from her accident, she was acting a bit ungrateful with the way she was being snippy with Polly (before it was revealed that Polly was crazy). She also made the stupidest decisions, she was just such an aggravating character.

Polly is actually insane and does not need a baby, I’m glad it kind of worked out in the end for her but she was seriously cuckoo. I can’t get over how she literally threatened to call the police on her husband all because he wanted to do the right thing. That man loves her so much and she took advantage of that. You threaten to call the cops on him and then to kill yourself and you wonder why he’s looking at you sideways. The way she kept making excuses like she was doing the right thing even though she was literally committing a crime. I feel like she needed to be admitted and was a bit disappointed she wasn’t at the end.

Hank is honestly a big teddy bear, the way he looks scary but is a big ole softy. I just think he needs a backbone and to actually stand up to his wife because he knew she was wrong but he just kept placating her, it was driving me insane. I’m glad he finally did the right thing by taking Tegan to the hospital and saving Sadie from her father.

Not gonna lie I did manage to guess all the plot points in besides the big one at the end, honestly wasn’t expecting that one but I really enjoyed it. Even though I did manage to figure out most of it, I still really enjoy it so much I couldn’t put it down.

I have read a lot of Freida’s books and this one I would say it’s one of her better books in my opinion. I felt like I was getting a Freida McFadden fatigue but this one managed to reel me back in.
