This was a quick, sweet and entertaining Christmas book - a great read for this holiday season! 🎄

Tessa's life is practically falling apart.
She just lost her last living relative, she had to shut down her own business, her love life is something that's better left unmentioned. And it's almost Christmas. Way to go, you jolly season. With not much to do, Tessa decides to follow psychic's advice to find her true love - who lives in Portland, by the way, - and hopefully the rest is history.

What she didn't expect was having her first class seat being taken by an Army Ranger, she didn't expect for the plane to make an emergency stop either, and she definitely didn't expect the airport closing down because of the weather AND, on top of it all, having to share the last rental car available with said Army Ranger, Tre, to reach her destination. Phew, seriously, can't life just giver her a BREAK??

Tessa and Tre's road trip was so fun to follow. These characters are so different but I love them in their own way. Tessa definitely keeps more to herself and she doesn't open up easily, where Tre has a sort of magnetic and flirtatious personality. Their banter and bickering was amusing, and I loved how with each day spent they built this special connection and got to know each other much better. I couldn't get enough of their cute moments.

I can't say I saw the twist coming, but I probably suspected what it'd be the closer I got to it, still it surprised me and I cannot say I was expecting it. 😱

Tre's family is incredible, I specially love his Mom - she's incredibly kind and genuine.

Their journey is filled with ups and downs and it's definitely a crazy one, but it's also a journey you'd say "yup, this was meant to happen". Watching them go from enemies to sorta friends to lovers was fun and sweet, and it just has a right amount of miracle sparkle there. 🥰🫶🏼
