Total Eclipse by Jessica Lynch

Did not finish book.

This book was literally exposition dump after exposition dump. The mediocre but albeit fairly entertaining angsty friends-to-lovers romantic subplot couldn't even save this because even that was broken up and interspersed with multiple page-long expositional breaks that added nothing to the story and only served to confuse me. 

And that's not even touching the underlying purity culture rhetoric that's apparent throughout this book.
