Oona and the Shark is purely enjoyable and uplifting. Oona enjoys making friends and wanted to make the newest character one as well. Except Stanley the Shark is not feeling the inventions she makes nor the party she throws.

(I kinda felt bad laughing at Stanley fleeing for his life from Oona's inventions, but he expressions are priceless)

It isn't until Oona and her sea creature friend, Otto the otter <3  who is so FREAKING ADORABLE, go to a quiet place to think when an idea sparks to life.

This story was just oober adorable and I adore this book to pieces. Oona's resolution to bond with Stanley was truly heart-warming and tbh I love her latest invention balanced with his energy. At the end, I definitely related to Stanley and adore the pure joy I felt after reading it. I will be on the look out for more of Oona's adventures.
