Drowning to Breathe by A.L. Jackson

4.0

Lowkey had no idea when I first read book one.. but I was way too lazy to dive back into it. Sorry not sorry.

Luckily, Drowning to Breathe, didn't get struck by the second book syndrome. No, really - I liked it. Maybe it's because I listened to this and the third one but read the first one. No idea why I did that but I'm weird (so go with it).

Now if I remembered correctly, I think this ended right where the first book ended but not super sure. Just going with it. In it, we still get Baz and Shea. Oh lord, I still love them. These two are definitely not in a good place to start off with. Didn't expect that but it definitely tugged on my heartstrings. Secrets come out and people are in shock and don't know what to do - especially our two broken MC's.

Cue tears please.

Not going to lie, these two are my everything. I am so proud of myself for not being completely lost in this book because I enjoyed it all. I'm also really enjoying the growth between these two because they definitely need one another. This series has continued to be utterly amazing.
