Tattoos and Clues: Paranormal Cozy Mystery by Trixie Silvertale

3.0

While this is a book 2, it can be read as a stand alone, as all of the characters and information we learned in book one is revisited.

We catch up with Mizty as she entangles herself in yet another convoluted case. I'm so so thankful that this series isn't running with the typical insta-love that runs rampant in cozy mysteries. The banter between the characters is great, and the small town friendly yet nosy behavior is perfection.

But again, much like book one, the excessive use of adverbs and adjectives leave me questioning if it's intentional first person character trait or not. Also, there were many aspects that just didn't feel believable so they pulled me out of the story.
