Best friends to lovers AND fake marriage - always a perfect combination.
The co-dependent, adorable BFF’s come up with a plan to marry for medical insurance (which is totally something I would do) because Eric has broken his ankle.
Eric and Donovan have a very interesting dynamic. As children Donovan was often sick and stuck at home, and the charismatic Eric was always by his side. Something for which Donovan feels unworthy.
As adults, Donovan is ‘accomplished’ and has his life together, and Eric feels like he’s struggling and not worthy of help and support.
Though they struggle with the give and take, what they never question is their friendship. But things take a turn once they become husbands. In the best, most fun way!
