This book hit on some very important themes such as human and women ‘s rights that sadly are still an issue today. I saw so much of myself in Jo as a mother from her feelings of being lost to the deep sadness to know that you won’t have enough time to follow your own dreams, but you’ll pour yourself into the dreams of your children. The characters were loveable and I did not want to put this book down
