Having seen the TV show first, I expected to find the book dramatically different, but the show seems to have been fairly consistent as far as I remembered things.
This genre of satirical blasphemy is highly entertaining to me, and it was a well-performed audiobook.
However, the book was released in 2009 and there are several throwaway racist comments that I wasn’t expecting, and I don’t think it manages to pass the Bechdel-Wallace test.
