The Radleys by Matt Haig

4.0

This was another weird one, but better than the Labrador Pact, IMO. It’s the story of a family to vampires who are living as “abstainers” meaning they do not act on their impulses to drink blood. Abstaining makes them sick, and their children are suffering quite a bit, even though they don’t know they are vampires.

Something unthinkable happens and the truth is forced into the light, leading the family to reach out to old connections and indulge in the lifestyle they used to be a part of. Another story of murder, lies, and deceit from Matt Haig.
