.
A MUCH easier low angst read than I was expecting.
I was cool with that.

Jackson works at the neighbourhood pub in a small town. Willa (what the heck kinda name is that?) lives a hop skip and a jump away from said pub.
...yet somehow Jackson never noticed her??? for 10 years???
This is what sucked me into the book, wanting to know the answer. But I can't say as I ever got it.
So Willa is 26 now (10 years after Jackson came to town)? and... you guessed it
Spoilerstill a GD virgin. saving her it for her crush, Jackson. But never having the nerve to make a move.

Still, I did enjoy it. It's cute without being cloyingly sweet.
Jackson is a nice guy, but probably not the brightest bulb on the planet. The most angsty it gets is when he tries to push her away when he gets cold feet. Willa is your stereotypical girl-next-door. I did like the way she talked back to Jackson when he was being an ass.

safety is good, i guess
Spoilershe's a damn virgin for crying out loud. She's seen him flirting with every tourist who passes through the bar for 10 years. But Jackson kisses her and it's game over? Anyways, He has always been religious about condom use before Willa.
