This was a trip, ha!

We follow Shadi, a girl who is addicted to opium and is looking for her next fix in the midst of earthquakes rocking the city of Tehran. It's confusing and disorienting but also kept me invested in what would happen to her and the characters around her.

There's a lot of social commentary as we see the world fall apart through her eyes. Addiction is a big problem all around the world and I think that this was a very unique perspective that spoke volumes in this short novel.
