I read this book first not knowing it was the second in the series, and honestly, I recommend doing it that way. This is the best book of the trilogy. It drops you immediately into the action and love story, which does continue into book three, but if I would have started at book one, I’m not sure I would’ve kept reading. The main characters are well written and the authors are one of the only ones I have come across that can actually write humor. This has become one of my comfort books. I reread it all the time. (Also, spice ;)
