The Days Are Just Packed by Bill Watterson
5.0
Delightful, of course. Another volume that I've read fewer times, so they felt fresh.
Two notes in this one:
- Watterson basically has free reign over the Sunday strips at this point in his career, and you can tell. There is some really gorgeous stuff going on- full landscapes, unconventional paneling, new ideas, old ideas taken to a new degree. It's beautiful.
- Calvin calls the library a lot in this one. He's called them previously, but there's more than a handful in here, and I found them pretty funny.
